Alkebulan Inspirational Afrimentals

Motivation for inspiring youth to discovering their greatest self. 

The truth is, there is no life without spirituality! In more familiar language, NOTHING is possible without God… God has created each of us with the spiritual power to change any situation we’re faced with. This workshop will teach participants the process of: unpacking the power we all possess to press toward success in our; individual, family and communal lives. WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

Community Service Projects 

Engaging in community service fosters a sense of belonging and unity among residents. By working together to tackle local challenges, individuals develop stronger bonds and connections with their neighbors, leading to a more cohesive and supportive community.

Let Us Make Man: The Gathering to Reclaim Black Manhood will be known for excellence in training, developing and empowering black men that rebuild and transform the black family and community.

Esports and Cyber lounge 

Esports provides youth with a unique and valuable developmental experience, equipping them with essential skills and qualities that are beneficial both on and off the virtual battlefield. It offers opportunities for personal growth, social interaction, and self-expression, while also fostering a sense of belonging and community among players.

Summer Camp

Camp Alkebulan operates with the belief that children excel in the context of a community where they are safe and valued, their physical needs are met, there is culturally relevant content, and they feel relaxed and psychologically secure.  Camp Alkebulan currently serves youth 6-13 years of age and teenage age 14-17.

Urban Farming

Teaching our youth how to urban farm is essential for addressing food insecurity, promoting health and wellness, creating economic opportunities, fostering environmental sustainability, strengthening cultural connections, building resilient communities, and providing valuable education and skill development opportunities. By investing in urban farming initiatives, we can empower  youth to become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond.

Martial Arts in an Afrocentric institution can hold significant importance for individuals of African descent for various reasons, including cultural preservation, personal development, community empowerment, and self-defense.
